Mission

Muktangan (an open forum or courtyard) provides a forum for activities dedicated to nurturing and promoting Bengali and Indian arts and culture among residents of Tallahassee, Florida. The association promotes and organizes cultural, social, philanthropic, and religious events consistent with its mission.

Muktangan became a non-profit entity for federal tax purposes on December 22, 2014. Donations to Muktangan, are tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of Internal Revenue Code. For more guidance on your donations please consult IRS Publication 4221-PC and/or your tax-advisor.
